I've discussed the Small Business Administration in previous articles, however I wanted to mention them again. There are some excellent resources available at the SBA Website.
I would encourage you to go to the site and review some of the great tools and information that is available to you. Remember...it's a FREE resource for you. Well, not completely free since you are a taxpayer. So, with that said though, take advantage of your tax dollars!

This isn't totally related to this post.. but I was wondering what the average electricity costs for a shaved ice trailer were.

I have another question.. I am looking to open a stand this summer (which is the reason for all the questions). Is there sales tax on shaved ice? If so, I'm asuming you build that into the cost so it is easy for people to pay in cash.

Sales tax varies from state to state, so the best thing to do is consult with someone local. I'd suggest starting at your county tax office and ask them who to contact. You may also find the information on your state government's website.
